Unitrans Botswana (Pty) Ltd – certification journey continues
The journey began in August 2006; this is the time Unitrans Botswana (Pty) Ltd obtained their first QMS certification and has by far revolved twice. First renewal was in August 2009, as the certification is a three year cycle and the second renewal was in 2012. Unitrans applied for re-certification on the 25th May 2012 and this time around Francistown Depot was made a branch of the Regional Depot this meant that the company had a desire to get multi site certification.
Unitrans Botswana (Pty) Ltd. does not accidentally demonstrate its commitment to quality - for quality isn’t achieved by accident, but is planned into an organisation’s processes hence the company values their QMS certification. The continued successful re-certification shows dedication and the will to keep going on and on despite the challenges.
Successful re-certification of Unitrans Botswana (Pty) Ltd marks the continued long and fruitful relationship between Botswana Bureau of Standards and Unitrans Botswana (Pty) Ltd and this definitely proves that indeed a certificate cannot be bought but rather earned through hard work and dedication. Botswana Bureau of Standards would like to encourage Unitrans Botswana (Pty) Ltd to keep striving for success in order to maintain the highest level of quality.
BOBS would like to welcome CMS and Unitrans Botswana (Pty) Ltd into BOBS’ family of 33 active Quality management systems certified organizations.
