He said it is their hope that through the cooperation between BOBS and NSI, there will be effective and efficient facilitation of the interchangeability of products traded between Botswana and Namibia.

The Managing Director of BOBS Mrs. Masego B. B. Marobela encouraged all the stakeholders involved to take advantage of the just signed MoU between BOBS and NSI for the development of the country’s economy. She also thanked the Chief Executive Officer of the NSI for “initiating and sowing this seed of our technical cooperation through facilitating the attachment training of your staff at BOBS and for availing our trainers the opportunity to deliver training courses on Standardization in Namibia”. Furthermore she expressed her gratitude to the International Organization for Standardization in general, and its Developing Country Policy Committee (DEVCO) in particular, to which both BOBS and NSI are members.
