Specifies three methods for examination and determination of colour: by visually observing a water sample in - bottle; by visual comparison of the water sample with known concentrations of coloured solutions; by absorbance analysis involving filtration through - filter membrane and subsequent spectrophotometric measurement of the absorbance of the filtrate.
