Plastic carrier bags and flat bags – Specification

This standard specifies requirements for carrier bags and flat bags that are made from thermo-plastic materials for use within the Republic of Botswana. This standard covers the following; domestically produced and imported plastic carrier bags, flat bags, printing requirements and the thickness of these bags. This standard does not cover the following; bread bags, refuse bags, bin liners, household plastic bags or primary packaging such as barrier bags.
