This Botswana Standard covers the requirements for base for light pavement structures, shoulders, footways and paved areas of category C and D in accordance with TRH 4 and category UC and UD in accordance with UTG 3. It covers the procuring, furnishing, classification, placing, compaction and finishing of approved natural gravel, stabilized gravel or crushed stone and waterbound macadam.
