Batch Certification
A supplier is issued a certificate as an indication that his/ her batch of products complies with specified requirements. A batch certificate is issued in respect to each batch, and pertrains only to the batch from which the sample (for testing) was obtained.

Standards Mark Certification
A supplier is permitted to affix BOBS standards mark to his product as an indication that:

• the product complies with a relavant Botswana standard;
• the supplier maintains an appropriate quality control system.
