BOBS was awarded third prize at the BOCCIM Northern Fair 2008 in Francistown under the Parastatal Group (information services category). The theme for the exhibition was "Making SMMEs Competent for Sustainable Economic Growth". The entire presentation focused on informing the clientel about how BOBS is assisting the SMMEs in relation to the theme.

In order to demostrate BOBS commitment to the theme, a BOBS, BOS ISO 9001:2000 and the ISO 9001:2000 DQS flags were displayed as well as a product and system certificates. There was also literature including reference standards, rulers and rubbers on the stand for demonstration.

The Francistown Manager - Ms Patricia Masemola made presentation to the judges on our behalf. Those who managed the BOBS stand were Ms Patricia Masemola, Mrs Masa Ndlangamandla, Mrs Regina Sarumi, Ms Maipelo Madi, Mrs Morapedi and Mr Lekone
