Weights & Measures Certificate of Competency Holders
The following list comprises of Weights and Measures Certificate of Competency holders, who have been issued these certificates in accordance with the Weights and Measures Act, 2006 and its Regulations of 2007 by the Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) for the installation and repair of instruments, weights and measures.
Instruments which are used for trade purposes must only be repaired by the holder of certificate of competency. Any person who has been granted certificate of competency would have the knowledge of the Weights and Measures Act, 2006 and its Regulations of 2007 as well as knowledge to mends, repair and service instrument weigh or measure which the certificate has been issued for.
Certificates of Competency expire on 31st December of each year but may be renewed upon application to the Managing Director of BOBS and on payment of the prescribed fee.
